Saints Row: Total Control

Posted by – February 28, 2011

The Saints once controlled all of Stilwater, but things fell apart after the Boss disappeared. Without the Boss at the reins, the old gangs came out of the woodwork and things are worse than they’ve ever been. We’re going to change that though.

Time to start your own gang, and the first step is representing in style. You need to check out the Customize button in the Facebook game Saints Row: Total Control.

The Brotherhood control most of southern Stilwater. You’ve gotta hit them where they’re weak and start digging into their territory. This hood fits the bill perfectly.

What did I tell ya?! The Brotherhood control every building in the area – time to show them there’s a new power in town. You are assigned to attack the buildings using or purchasing some virtual lookout thugs.

This is one of those apps where your performance in-game is highly dependent on how many friends you have playing and greatly accelerated by wasting your money to buy cash and gold. I was glad they decided to make an app like this but I think they could have made it better and it saddens me to see that this game is a money monger.

Once the building has been destroyed, the building you were attacking is under your control, and your signature gang logo has been painted on it. Don’t forget to grab your loot after capturing a building! Your thugs will ‘borrow’ some if you take too long.

In retaliation for taking their building they’ve sent out one of their goons to patrol the streets. You need to get your Stronghold set up with some assault capability to take him out!

Rival gangs will damage your Stronghold unless you take them out! If your Stronghold reaches 0 Hit Points, you’ll have to repair it before you can attack and recapture buildings in the hood. Keep shooting that thug till he stops twitchin’.

Like shooting fish in an aquarium! Keep attacking buildings and this hood will be yours in no time.

Fantasy MMORPG Runes of Magic to be Facebook game and browser game

Posted by – February 28, 2011

The client-based MMORPG Runes of Magic lacks true forward momentum and even the publisher Frogster are not capable of fixing the existing deadly bugs, which leads to a wave of Runes of Magic account hacking. While there’s no attraction in today’s free to play business model, it seems such games like Champions Online, World of Tanks and Dragon Saga have been in imminent danger of death.

However, this unpleasant trends did not cause some hindrance to Frogster’s plans on bringing its flagship MMO Runes of Magic to Facebook and browser platform.

According to the yesterday’s  press release Frogster and Kalydo work together to make the Facebook version of free fantasy mmorpg Runes of Magic and later it will become a browser game too. The millions of players will soon be seeing a new MMO Facebook game. This is not the first time that Kalydo has worked out plans to bring MMOs to Facebook, as we found out that it also brings IGG’s free mmo game GodsWar Online to Facebook.

If Runes of Magic would have become a browser game, it also support 3D visuals with no hours of download and no installation – the fantasy role-playing game will run in common browsers just a few clicks.  And this will happen in 2011. Perhaps in the second quarter of 2011, Runes of Magic is completely in the browser and be playable on Facebook too.

Frogster hopes that the new version is a significant expansion for a great  number of players.

Capaly Finally Announce its Ipad Lucky Draw Winner List

Posted by – February 28, 2011

It is typically normal to see that game developers go deep into their mind and try to dig out a great point to get player’s attention.

Potential scandal, images with sexy chick, updating game features as players suggest… whatever it is, there are always a way for game developers to catch players attention on something. Or maybe held a Lucky Draw with abundant rewards like free journey to somewhere, or some Hi-tech products, which always good at gain players’ attention.

However, there are always some doubt about the truth and rightness of a Draw. Maybe, this is just one of trick came up by game developer, and no one really gets rewards, or some insiders get the rewards…But there may a real case that players did receive some big rewards.

Recently,  Caplay just informed us that they had a Valentine’s Lucky Draw during 26th Jan to 14th Feb (CST). In this Lucky Draw, their players who had ever bought game coins from any of their games, Napoleonic War and War of 2012, even a minimum order will give them a chance to win an Ipad free of charge. There are 5 Ipads for this whole Valentine Lucky Draw.

Well, though the Ipad seems not the most attractive Hi-tech gadget from Apple line-up now, but why not try, if you could get a free one, at least, this is a shot to get a kinda good but free stuff.

We gain some information from PR of Caplay that though the whole things a little bit hectic(and there is a long holiday break during the time the event runs), they promised that Draw would be true and the outcome come up in a fair way.

To prove that winner are pick up in fair way, they even ask their oversea GM members to made video snap and present how the winners was picked up by the third Live Draw site.

Good video Caplay! And good voice,GM Isa. At least, the whole draw seems really believable now. But I suggested that rewards can be distributed into players from 2 games in a balance proportion when there a new Lucky Draw, as all winners are from War of 2012. Poor NapWar…Just never piss any players off; you know they are the real meaning your games.

If you have interest to know about how this draw was made and who the winners are, you can refer to http://www.caplay.com/vipad-snnn.html.

Don’t forget to remind us ahead, if there is a Lucky Draw of these kinds next time, allowing players from our sites have access for that as well. That is we call fairness as well.

Merry Manor

Posted by – February 25, 2011

Having gathered for a cup of tea pets decided that it time for them to get their own gardens. They need a place to rest,, grow fresh fruit and vegetables, to feed themselvves, and have a place to wander about.

No sooner said than done: now each pet has their own lot of land. Of course it is not a bargain to buy signicant lots of land for all the pets. That is why you as well as everyone else get only a small garden. It is up to you to grow crops and make your garden as gorgeous as you like.

Your neighboring gardening friends are already collecting their first harvests. Come on! Keep up with them. it is not easy to become a Prince Being just a simple farmer, but anything is possible for you.

I am less and less enamored of this Facebook game Merry Manor. You can’t even send a gift to a friend without using either coins from the game or spending cash. There is too much that requires real cash in this game. And I can not leave a review with my rating…, only comment on it. App is now blocked for me.

I don’t mind test driving games and then will spend my money if I think it is worth it. This game doesn’t give you a chance. It is a very cute game but the creators are a bit greedy in my opinion. I spent the gems they gave just trying to… complete the quests. My storage building was completed with the last of them and then SURPRISE you need to spend more gems to complete another level unless you want to harass your friends who don’t play. I don’t like doing that. I will suggest but I am not going to be obnoxious about it.

The funny part of this is. When I went to write my review it wouldn’t work for me. It wasn’t until I added into the comment page that it would. It just goes to show that the creators are GREEDY and don’t want anyone to know about it.

The game has no sound. It is difficult to click on things. Some quests require crystals (cash) and having a certain number of neighbors. I won’t be playing this.

ave spend money for gifts, everything is expensive and can’t level up on mine so can’t get the diamond which you need for some quest. Cute game but wonder is it worth the frustration and money issues. 1 star at this point is more then generous.

Do you want to review this game? Then leave your commens below, and we did not censor your comments and reviews.
