Farmandia

Posted by – December 23, 2010

It is time to harvest your crops on the Facebook harvesting game Farmandia. Like all Farmville type games, you grow flows, get rid of weeds, trade products, levelup and earn coins and experience.

Check what facebook users are reviewing:

I actually like the game, best graphics on any other game. Downside is lack of communication from developers and I purchased coins last week that was taken from my bank account but never added to my game. No response to e-mails sent. I do not advise buying coins or gems for this game.

Super cute graphics! No annoying maintenance. Cute Cute Cute. Wish there was more games with this quality graphic!

I enjoy this game very much the graphics are great and it is very user friendly, the only issue I have is everything is so expensive and it will take forever to save for expansions, factories and buildings which is a shame as after a while if we cannot buy these it will get boring and frustrating.

I am also having problems since the construction project started, keep getting oops no money message. I have sent Farmandia 3 Emails with no response. I urge everyone to block this application if this issue is not addressed or at least acknowledged. The other games on Facebook also have glitches and problems, but they do respond to Emails and post about the issues they are working on. Maybe we should all stick the games actually developed by Facebook and not some computer geeks who can’t keep their customers happy.

Everything costs too much, the butterflies are stupid, my diamonds keep going away, and I am not spending them, and my farm value went down by a million!!! It would be a lot of fun if you could actually afford to buy some of the things!!

please, why do not you allow us to buy anything with the coins? we have the choice to buy with the coins or diamonds, but are just too many things with diamonds and it is unfair to those who dedicate much time Farmand. the panda is too expensive then diamonds and gifts that we are ridiculous, gifts for friends are too few and not enou…gh for all plus some are well paid …. listen to the voice of those who play!

I hope they keep working on improving this game. The graphics are lovely and the animals and crops are enjoyable, I look forward to seeing how the sheds will work. However the basic programing seems to have some deep flaws, commonly showing in errors such as day counter not always registering you are in, diamonds delivered less than half the time they are due, charging too many diamonds for a purchase, etc. If the same love and care went into maintaining this game as seemingly went into designing it, it could probably double or even triple its player base rather rapidly rather than shrinking it.

This game is much like Bigpoint’s browser game Farmerama

Dear Loongarians,

As you know, we are extensively testing all the features of Loong. Now it’s time to open the Dragon Market to the public to get your feedback and test the different technical processes associated with it.

Here is how it’s going to work:

On December 22nd we will allow you to purchase the Loong Dragon Market currency: ingots. For this you will have to go through our payment gate and purchase ingots.

It’s simple: on the first day of the server reset we will reimburse any ingots purchased with a bonus of 50%. On your first day in Loong you’ll start with a cleared inventory and with all the ingots you purchased plus 50% more.

For example: you purchase 1000 ingots today, you get 1500 ingots back when the server is reset.

Juggernaut: 3D Browser-based Jugger RPG Game Available Now

Posted by – December 22, 2010

Juggernaut, a 3D online game made by Mail.ru, is going to enter the closed beta in North America and Europe soon. The publisher Mail.ru has already publish this 3D action RPG in Russian regions, and today Jugger Game got an English website.

Juggernaut is a free-to-play browser-based MMORPG. It can be played after a short registration and without downloading any client software. Once you have registered and are logged in, the action starts immediately and only a few moments later, combat action awaits you, revealing fascinating 3D graphics.

These high end quality 3D fight sequences can be provided thanks to the innovative 3D engine “Unity”, allowing three-dimensional battles and realistic scenes in a browser window – such a quality was previously only available in client-based games.

After the first fight you are already involved in the gripping storyline: As young “Scorpion” you have to prove your skill and honesty by completing the first quests. There are various quests and quest chains, helping you to understand the game mechanics and drawing you deeper into the world of Haradan.

Haradan is anything but a peaceful place: Every player should be prepared for random encounters, as the beasts of the world have been made highly aggressive by supernatural forces which threaten the existence of the entire world.

Slaying beasts, fulfilling quests and overpowering evil champions within their dungeons, you learn more and more about the dangerous times you live in and grow into your destiny: To be the strongest hero of all and saving the world while wearing the most powerful armor – Juggernaut – given to mankind eons ago.

You will need to ensure your survival by equipping yourself with the items you get in quest, rewards or drops, by crafting items yourself or by buying them from one of the different vendors in the world.

It will not take long before a young hero recognizes that it is a hard way to the top – a journey too long and too tough to be taken on all by oneself. So you have the option to choose one of two factions: The Steel Cohort or the Free League. Both are fighting the evil which is menacing the world, but they have different ideas of the right way to guard mankind and to save it. While one is favoring personal freedom the other sees the way to redemption in a militaristic order.

These opposing ideologies constitute the source of a strong rivalry. To their members it is a question of valor and honor which drives them into battle against the opposing faction. You can actively support your chosen party by taking part in massive player versus player battles against the opposing faction with hundreds of combatants. You can further aid your brethren by conquering territories for your faction, by fulfilling quests on their behalf or by simply attacking enemy players.

Of course this inter-faction conflict is not the only way to test your skills against other players. From the very beginning of the game it is possible to duel yourself with other players and very soon you may visit the arena. And that not only as a spectator …

But no one is forced to take part in the player versus player action. You have the choice where you want to set your priorities. Even for those neither interested in player versus environment action nor in player versus player action the game brings countless occasions to have a great time in an affectionately designed world with thousands of items, presents, open and private chat channels, trading channels, an auction house and the possibility to find and join a player clan and much much more …

Best Browser Games of the Year 2010

Posted by – December 22, 2010

2010 is a great year for browser game fans and social gamers. If you’re a fan of the browser-based game genres – strategy city building, RPG, MMO, Shooter, or farming simulation — here comes a great opportunity for you to vote and rate your most favorite browser games that are worth playing all 2010 year and beyond.

A change of year always gives to MMO Game Site team an opportunity to look back and evaluate which browser games were running best. However, it is hard for us to award the best browser game to a single developer since different companies has different focuses on its core products.

We took this opportunity to present you our contest for Best Browser Games of the Year 2010 in hopes of giving a fair scores for the browser games and finally we pick up the best browser games in 2010.

* Best Action Browser Game

Browser Action game is a video game genre that emphasizes online fighting and challenges on the web browsers, including team cooperation, real time battle, PVE and PVP. The Action-centric browser games are more often than not seen as a flash game such as Fighters of King.

In a browser-based action game, players create their character presented by a virtual avatar who wield swords, Blade, or gun to battle with enemies with a diverse type of actions like jump, Kung Fu, Martial Arts.

* Best Adventure Browser Game

An Browser-based adventure game is a sub genre of video game where players have the main role to play in order to explore the adventurous environment, slay monsters, rescue a designated person. Typically, an adventure game can be played best via the console, but with the technology increasingly updated, there have been a great number of browser games with adventure genre coming to the market in the form of side scrolling, puzzle-solving and questing.

* Best Persistent Virtual World browser Game

A persistent virtual world is something like an online Internet-connected community where players aged over 4 – 10, or 10 – 16, enjoy together by sharing fun, playing mini games, learning basic knowledge of living and skills. A good virtual world is Club Penguin, which is also called as a massively multiplayer online role-playing game including various online games, events, and activities. Virtual world games are also free to play like most of free online games on Internet. Typically you do not need to download the client to play, but some 3D virtual world may require you to download its official client to play in order to get the most amazing enjoyment.

* Best browser Racing Game

Browser Racing Game can be found everywhere on the web, but here what we are talking about is multiplayer-based racing game in which you can build your club, buy parts, participate in events and tournaments. From our collection of online games list, we found Bigpoint’s ToonRacer, and Gameforge’s Drivals are what we are going to award.

* Best Role-Playing Game

A browser-based online Role-Playing Game is equivalent of client-based on MMORPG if players are not seeking quality graphics and huge 3D world. Such browser RPG as Shakes and Fidget, Kung Fu Online and Dragon Age Legends are not crafted at the peak in 2010, but in the next year, or 2011, there must have been a remarkable improvement with the HTML5 technology introduced.

* Best browser-based Shooter

A browser-based Shooter may not be easily found on Internet especially for the Mutliplayer online shooter games. For some indie game developers, they may have some fresh ideas to develop a browser-based shooter, but due to the huge investment, and small return, online shooter game cannot be found easily. If you happened to spot such game, why not share with us?

* Best City building Strategy Game

City building games have  been in fashion since 1989 with SimCity. However, today’s city building games are mostly multiplayer-based, addicting and money-oriented. The most browser game title should be Chinese browser game Evony in 2009. In 2010, more and more such games came to our view: WarFlow, Transforce, War2 Glory, Ministry of War, etc.
* Best Graphic Browser Game
* Best Sound Browser game
* Best Storyline browser game

Below are some candidates we are assuming best, but we need your voice – Right now! Just sumbit your best browser games.

Evony Age 2

Clash of Kingdoms

Ministry of War

Shakes and Fidget

Edragon

Caesary

Business Tycoon Online

TransForce

Nap War

War of 2012

War of Legends

World of Lordcraft

Microsoft’s MMO Age of Empires Online and browser Game NeoSaurs

Posted by – December 22, 2010

Competition among MMO, Social game and browser game makers is heating up on Internet. With EA’s new tweet on Free to play mmo game Battlefield Play4free and Ubisoft’s browser game The Settlers Online, Microsoft is now joining the online game publishing family and try to slow down its rivals.

Over the last year or so, there has been an explosion of online multiplayer games hitting the market and bring flash gamers get used to playing MMOs. Traditionally, MMOs are subscription-based gameplay that requires players to pre-pay for the copies of mmo while this business mode has changed since Korean MMOs entered the North American market. Interesting enough, this free to play business model is now thriving in China and even Chinese developers are rushing into the North America and Europe, Consequently at a surprisingly speed rate.

Just the end of this year 2010, Microsoft announced a new browser game Neosaurs that is now available for both office workers and Facebook fans because it is playable on web browser independently and Facebook. For most people, the Web browser-powered games are running laggy and have too much trouble in terms of the data connections.

However, Microsoft’s browser mmo Neosaurs promises players a smooth gaming and fun video games experience.

When it comes to browser games or Facebook games, I should say they are all ripping off the Microsoft’s Age of Empires Online, say, city building, strategy-driven battle and fighting, online communication, social networking.

Even the most popular browser game Evony could not shy away from the inspiration from Age of Empires Online, followed by a group of copycat such as Ministry of War, Batheo, War of 2012, Caesary and many more.

Microsoft’s dominating power is becoming weak as Facebook and Google ravaged online advertising and business markets and 2010 has proved that online game and social networking are for 2011. Microsoft cannot stand the fact that its competitors rushed out copycat products with its own ideas. Microsoft is coming back, yet with MMO, Facebook Games and browser games.

Screwed-Up Closed beta of MMO Battlefield Play4Free, Open Beta in 2011

Posted by – December 22, 2010

Everyone enjoyed battlefield 2, but I don’t understand why they cant keep making it that same play style. Bad company sucks, play4free sucks even more and Vietnam is going to suck the worst, and until they make something as close as battlefield 2 i wont pay a cent for it. People only play because there is nothing else to play.

Even the call of duties are screwed up.

Its always been like that though, although they are clever at programming games, they not very clever in keep making enjoyable games, i Stopped playing at BF2 and still play Bf2 and will play BF2 until they can make another one.

For instance, why make the chopper in bad company fly like that, stupid. why make the cross hair take so long to come up on some guns, again stupid. why make the character feel so heavy to run, more stupid. why cant you prone for that extra in your tactics, just lame. We haven’t even seen the jets, will probably be stupid as well. The tank and apc system worked great with the overheating style, why change it? it works well!!. i could go on and on with all the flaws it has.

it will take a new company to make things good again like its always been. The people at battlefield are a lost cause and dont take heed to what the players want in the game. They always want to change it wich actually is always worse.

Just make a game as close to Battlefield 2 and more people will like it than none, the odds will be reversed as to bad company 2 and play4free.

Yes, there is players who like the style of bad company 2, but there are more for the style battlefield 2 offers and and everyone would change over to the one that is closest to battlefield 2, i am pretty sure

Whats the bet they screw battlefield 3 up and make it play exactly like bad company 2?

What was the intent of this Battlefield version? This is a good version for those who don’t have PC’s that could run a fully decked out game and just want some mindless fun. This version lets down the hardcore gamer. They stripped out all the combat and graphical elements of BF2 that made this series great. I got months of fun with the orginal and would gladly pay money for an updated copy of BF2 that works with Win 7, 64 bit. BF2 has realistic combat elements and this is what fans of this series look for in the next version. If the intent was to hook casual gamers into the Battefield Series you have a good shot at that but you do run the risk of ticking off the hardcore gamers with this fodder.

I gotta say for a beta game it has fairly decent graphics though there are bugs that i figure will be fixed by the time it goes for open beta.

Battlefield Play4Free is developed by EA for online shooter fans. Battlefield 2. It comes as a free to play title. Battlefield Play4Free is in fact not just a free Battlefield 2, it is also enriched by other elements. Thus there are the classes and weapons that we know from Bad Company 2. The RPG elements of Battlefield: Heroes will be integrated into the virtual shooting software. This mix will make it possible for an addictive online shooting game Battlefield: Play4Free.

But what is in the Battlefield series at all? You choose to start a battle from two factions and character classes – including professions such as soldier, medic or sniper. Then it goes with the team to the war zone, either on foot as infantry or in one of the vehicles and planes that are near each base. It is finally possible to penetrate deep into enemy territory to take and hold flag points.

Battlefield Play4Free is currently in beta phase and will be hitting the open beta in 2011.

Games of the Week: New MMO on Facebook and Web browser

Posted by – December 22, 2010

This week’s new recommendation is divided into two parts:  the first part is social games on facebook while the second part is, as usual, browser-based mmo games.

Facebook Games:

1.Warimals:

Whenever dogs and cats meet up, they fight! For territory, for food or for standings in the animal kingdom, this time, it all starts right from your own backyards. Wonna come along for a ride, or even kick some stunning moves to help your pets out? Then Warimals, the latest Facebook anime-based casual game would do your more than great a favor!

2.Asteroids Online

The galaxy has already become a landfill in every sense, flooded with no only garbage and debris, but also low life such as wicked aliens and warlike space gangsters. Start to clean this ‘trash’-floated universe with brooms, guns and even bombs under the help of your well-trained crewman. Looking for a right place to kick off this great and unique space mission? Asteroid Online there is!

3.Catch a Killer

Chain-killing has for days in run become the media punch line in the gaming world. Detectives are all out tracking and hunting the vicious culprits. But things are tougher than expected with fingerprints wiped out and foot traces messed up. Could you, the sharpest tools in the business, straighten the crime out from this complete jumble and finally ‘Catch a Killer’? We are all waiting for the surprise!

4, Magic Mall

Magic Mall is a new business tycoon online social game that is available for Facebook social networking platform where players could activate this app and invite their friends to play. Like the most popular facebook mmo game FrontierVille and Mall Dreams, Magic Mall is also to let you build your dream Magic Mall and shop around stores.

5, Galaxy X,

Galaxy X is a surprisingly hardly seen fun game on Facebook or your web browser with its explosive sounds in the space theme. You will start to adventure in a side scrolling manner.

6, Infinite Realms

Chinese browser game developer JoyPort was known as the father of Three Kingdoms Online, but the latest push into the Facebook suggests that it is now switching to the social game section from browser game. The new title Infinite Realms is the best proof that sparks a huge wage of embracing this browser facebook mmo.

It is a pity for China-based Joyport not to shy away from its cliche city building despite the futuristic background.

7, Chronicles of Herenvale

8, The Secret Plant Society

9, Penguin World

10, Zombie Party

11, Neosaurs

12, Zombie Mosh

13, Monster Galaxy

14, Urban Warfare

15, CityVille

MMO Games on browser:

1. Edragon

The ultimate hangout for fierce dragons, perverse blood-drinkers, and all other fictional fears that occur only in your dark nightmares; the epic fighting arena between human, monsters and every combative characters that make MMO world never for a moment free of war; and the great test for your battling skills, cunning tactics and teamwork talents; All these buzzwords together give MMO fans their yearly action blockbuster—Edragon! Just come and try it out!

2, Batheo

This new browser game is developed in China with the revamped version of browser game Dynasty Saga. The browser game Batheo has all browser game’s features such as Tax System, Flash Battle System, RPG, Strategy and Battle Replay.

Since the launch, Batheo enjoy a remarkable peak of mubers of online gamers. While this game still has a lot of bugs that needs fixing. So the number of online players may decline as time goes.

3. Dungeon Empires

The latest 3D MMO art piece from Limbic Entertainment, Dungeon Empires ushers in a combat-packed fantasy world where you build your own dark facilities, loot fellows for supplies and monsters, and at the same time trap or kill any dungeon busters in the zone. Anything of a perfect hybrid gaming choice for friends, Dungeon Empires would be the closest one we get!

4, Battlestar Galactica Online

The most exciting moment for me is a release of new browser game, especially a 3D browser game set in the future space. Bigpoint never like Chinese developers make a copycat to seek success, but contributed a lot in innovations. The upcoming browser game Battlestar Galactica Online may not let our gamers down in 2011.

5, Dynasty Saga

This browser game may be inferior to Batheo no matter what aspects in the game. But with the heavily advertising campaign, Dynasty Saga may blow players out the water in the launch while players will be aware of the real fact sooner or later.
