Horse Saga

Posted by – September 29, 2010

This is the news straight from the “horse” mouth. According to the rumors lately been going on in the Facebook’s exclusive stable, a new roughrider is gonna take the whole care-giving-plus-training thing over. Remember how we made life so tough for the last one who dared to ride on our back that he took to heels faster than fast. Whoever comes this time, we are gonna do the same trick and show him it’s only wishful thinking to ever get us tamed.

Do you hear that, our would-be horsebreake? Those wild ponies already has the little plan in mind to force you call it a quit. It seems like something really hilarious and interesting will be staged on between you and the horses. Horse Saga, the newest Ubisoft offering, will have every bit of those interesting anecdotes recorded. Now that the camera is rolling, don’t you wonna to look all awesome? Then put on your boots, take up the whip, and it’s time to make some rule here for those feral animals!

You know it gonna take more than feeding, hair-brushing, and horse-walking to have these babies handled. Sharp equestrian skills, adroit tactics and even sometimes, group wisdom are among the things you badly need to do a nice job not only as a care-giver, but more as a “black horse” scout.

Yep, the reason why you are here is that a really big horse-racing event is just on its way to Facebook. And all the horses back in stable are gonna be tested and trained to see which one is worth the bet. Tame them first, and then select the one you think can mostly likely to notch up the first prizes. Give the selected one serious run-up trainings, including hurdling, jumping, sprinting and more importantly, the bonding part to make sure your little buddy cooperate well during the competition.

Don’t want to back up the wrong horse and make a scene in front of all. Then better have some warming-up racings with your friends before the big day. See if your ideal horse is totally in a good shape after the intense training. If not, you’d better hurry to lift its spirits, for every other horse is exalted out there for the countdown of the competition.

Features:

Horse Saga, a refreshing breeze into the long stalemate social gaming world, distinguishes itself from other animal-caring titles by incorporating a strong competitive and motivating element into the otherwise routine-like game play.

It’s almost about everything that a roughrider has to do before he signs up for horse-racing. Make the right judgment and get yourself the most promising candidates in the virtual stable.

Come on, baby. It’s show time, Just rush out to get all your racers slogged out!

War of 2012: No wipeout Servers Go Live on Oct. 1, 2010

Posted by – September 29, 2010

Hongkong-based Caplay today told MMO Game Site.com that they have set the browser MMO “War of 2012” servers live On October 1, 2010. This is the first no-wipe-out server since they announced the open beta.

“We proudly present our dear players a chance to take command of the super technologies and survive the devastation in the browser game War of 2012.  All of civilizations must rise out of the ashes and begin to rebuild, relying completely on player’s wisest decisions.” said in Vera, the PR specialist.

War of 2012 brings users brand new, next generation features that make playing fun and cohesive. Developed by a team who understands what players want from a strategy game, War of 2012, without any question, qualifies as best strategy game that sets the game itslef apart from its competition.

The survivors support your bid to build a new nation, but you must direct new research, train adequate military, and most importantly seek out talented heroes to lead your forces! The carnage that awaits you will test the very limits of your skill as you will be one of the first to claim your right to rule this shattered new world. The future of all mankind hangs in the balance, will you heed the call?

Never Feed Another Troop!

Troop upkeep is simply too time consuming, and constantly worrying over whether your troops will have enough food is ridiculous. Then some situation occurs where you can’t make time to check them and you find that they’ve already either died or ran off to take up arms with your worst enemy. So why even bother to feed troops? In War of 2012 troop cost is minimal, and you’ll never have to feed a single one of them! No matter how many you decide to build!

Items That Actually Last!

If you are a player who plays online games frequently, you know how frustrating it is to invest in items that only last a few hours. After all you’ve got an empire to run, and your time is better spent planning your next conquest not constantly refreshing item buffs. In War of 2012, you will have the chance to enjoy our long duration items. The longest one will last up to 30 days! Of course you may want to choose items with shorter duration, so we have those too!

An Exotic, Yet Classical Style!

Prepare to rule with an overlay that consists of soft, eye catching color tones and revolutionary user-interface that is easy to navigate. Behold the delicate ancient and classical building styles that will inspire you to greatness. War of 2012 absorbs you into a world submerged in darkness to begin your epic journey.

Recycle and Refine Equipment

Great equipment is vital to give you the edge you will need to survive. You’ll start the game with basic equipment to outfit your best heroes, but over time as you progress into a more powerful player your Heroes will demand the best equipment you can supply them. Crafting outstanding equipment is an advanced feature in War of 2012. All of your old equipment can be dismantled from which you gain precious materials. Those materials can be used to forge superior quality equipment. No more useless equipment lying around the inventory, now you can just recycle your old equipment and make it useful!

The Legend of Temple Arena

Six great temples of the lost Mayan civilization are now revered as great oracles of the world; the treasures that have been found there since the date of the cataclysm are thought to hold symbols of great importance and clues to the hope of humanity. Alliances seek these prized treasures and teamwork plays a crucial role in this challenging feature of the game. Team up with your friends and battle within these mysterious temples. Winners of the temple challenges will receive abundant and rare treasures.

Resource Equalization

Tired of receiving mails informing you that your warehouse has too many resources and that you’ve lost half a day’s production to overflow? War of 2012 allows you to transfer resources from one type to another for construction, research, or even to build troops! Now you have the power to arrange resources to fit your particular needs.

Trade Items with Other Players!

We all know selling items for coins or even trading with other players is prohibited in most games. We’ve always thought that was the dumbest rule ever, so we promptly broke the mold in the War of 2012. Players can buy or sell any items (including Heroes!) and all the great deals can be made right on the player Market.

No Bullies!!!

More advanced players have no business picking on newer start-ups. In War of 2012, you can’t be attacked by higher “age” players. It’s a level playing field for all players. The unique age protection system can protect new players from being attacked even after the Newbie Protection has expired. Players in advanced ages cannot attack players from lower ages unless they are attacked first from a lower age player! You will not suffer just because you haven’t been playing constantly.

Military Tactics

There are more than 30 types of troops and 12 troop columns in the War of 2012. The deep troop correlation system will give every player a chance to show their unique knowledge of War.

Battle with Multiple Heroes!

Most games out there only allow you to send a single officer or in best cases just a few. Why limit yourself with just a few? In War of 2012 players can use up to 15 heroes in a single battle. Using 15 heroes to make an all-out attack or last ditch defense, now that is a battle worth the effort!

Bigpoint to publish 3D browser Game Drakensang Online in Q1 2011

Posted by – September 29, 2010

Online games developer Bigpoint yesterday announced that they were developing a 3D browser game called Drakensang Online for web browser platform, which is a sequel to the most popular RPG Drakensang Online. As of today, German Media has distributed the press release, describing the game as the most sophisticated and high end browser game that can be played via mainstream browsers, and even it will support Microsoft’s new beta IE9.

German Media ichspiele.cc said Bigpoint has set the release date as the first half year of 2011 and the classic single player Role-playing game Drakensang for Windows PC will continue its way, but as an online game presenting itself.

According to the in-depth coverage and followup by PC Game Magazine, the previous developers of Drakensang will also participate in the implementation of Drakensang Online (DSO). What is most under the spotlight is that the upcoming project is not based on the Unity3D technologies, but powered on the game engine called Nebula3 that has been used in the previous pc titles.

On the other hand, the browser game Drakensang Online will offer multiplayer and cooperative gameplay, but more detailed gameplays are not yet announced in the press release.

The previous game studio Radon Labs, after the acquisition by Berlin-based Bigpoint, is primarily responsible for the development of DSO. However, the game is not closely bound up with the Drakensang 1 or 2, but a more independent action-hugging 3D MMO, said the inside sources.

We sincerely hope this game will bring more fun to DSO lovers, but just stare at player’s pocket. I personally hope this game can add more storyline, flexible questing, fast loading speed, and better customer services.

At the moment, we can only sit and wait for the official release. Stay current with MMOGameSite.com, we will bring you follow up coverage once we get the first hand news.
